Art Basel Miami 2020 Virtual Exhibition - Call For Artists

Contemporary Art Projects USA invites established and emerging artists to participate in a virtual exhibition titled "Art Under Covid 19," opening December 6, 2020, with the platform extending until January 16, 2021. This virtual platform provides marketing and sales opportunities for artists during the cancellation of traditional art fairs due to the pandemic. The exhibition will be juried by Leticia Del Monte, Director of Marketing and Digital Platform at American TV (Art Division), and Tata Fernandez, Director of Contemporary Art Projects USA.

The exhibition will feature 50 artists, each presenting three images. An outline catalog will be created and distributed through social media and to collectors with direct links to artists' websites. Two artists will be awarded participation in Art Expo New York in April 2021. The gallery charges no commission on sales handled directly by the artist; otherwise, a 10% handling fee applies. Entry fee is $50.00, with an additional $10.00 media fee per image beyond the first three (maximum total fee of $70.00).

Eligibility is open to artists 18 years and older working in computer art, mixed media, painting, photography, small and monumental sculptures, and innovative new technologies in art. All work must be original and available for sale. Photography must be mounted on aluminum, Plexiglas, or framed. There are no size restrictions. Prices quoted on the entry form may not be changed after acceptance. Substitutions of accepted works are not allowed, and all delivered work must match the juried images. International artists may send canvas in a tube, with the artist covering stretching costs.
