About This Call
This inaugural Art & Craft show will feature a maximum of 75 artists allowing for less competition, less crossover booths and more potential opportunities to connect with shoppers. The event takes place at the historic Judah P. Benjamin Confederate Memorial at Gamble Plantation Historic State Park in Ellenton, Florida. The show is open Saturday & Sunday 10am to 5pm with setup Saturday morning 6:30am to 9am.
Application requirements include 5 images, a booth shot, and a $15 application fee. Early bird pricing is $275 if paid before January 6, $325 if paid after. Artists may apply in up to 2 categories and can load and unload next to, in front of or behind their booth. The focus is on handmade & artist designed items but the jury will consider unique/creative gift ideas, authors, inventors and designers for holiday gift giving.
Accepted categories include artist-made work, craft production, inventor creations, designer work, and other innovative concepts. All artist exhibitor tents must be white with no exceptions. Booth spaces are approximately 10' wide by 10' deep with at least 2 feet between booths. Artists are selected through a review by a panel of experts, with categories capped at no more than 25% jewelry. The event encourages emerging artists of all levels and provides marketing support through social media ads, posters, and local tourism websites.
