Art at the Avenue

South Cobb Arts Alliance presents Art at The Avenue West Cobb, a national juried invitational exhibition open to all residents of the USA. The exhibition will be held at The Avenue West Cobb, a 10,499 sq ft open-air lifestyle shopping center located at 3625 Dallas Highway, Marietta, Georgia, from August 27 through September 17, 2022, including Labor Day weekend. The venue attracts an estimated annual foot traffic of 2.5-3 million visitors and features an open-air, pedestrian-friendly setting with retailers and restaurants.

The juror and judge is Charles Young Walls, an award-winning painter with a growing reputation in the South and nationwide. Awards include $500 First Prize, $300 Second Prize, and $150 Third Prize, awarded at the discretion of the juror. Events within the exhibition will include collaborative presentations by the Georgia Ballet and Georgia Symphony, as well as a student artwork display for the Emerging Artists: Student Encore Exhibit. A Gift Shop will feature additional opportunities to purchase art from juried artists and local fine artists and crafters.

Entry fee is $45 for up to four artworks (maximum four total images). Artists must submit high-resolution digital images online via Café. Artwork must be delivered in person; no shipments will be accepted. All work must be original, priced for sale, and ready to install. 2-D artwork must be no larger than 60" x 60" (framed or unframed) or smaller than 11" x 14" (including mat and frame), weigh no more than 50 lbs, and be wired for hanging. 3-D sculpture must not exceed 45 pounds and 36" in any direction.
