About This Call
Coppell Creatives, in conjunction with Coppell Arts Council, facilitates monthly exhibits at the Mr. Cooper Gallery located in the Coppell Arts Center at 505 Travis St. in Old Town Coppell. This call is for the Art as a Voice Exhibit held in conjunction with Black History Month. The exhibit will be installed February 5, 2023 and taken down March 5, 2023.
Accepted entries must feature artwork surrounding African American Heritage, life, culture, and experiences. All media are acceptable. Up to three art pieces may be submitted for consideration. Samples must be uploaded and included in the application with the following information: Artist Name, Title of Artwork, Dimensions, and Media.
The exhibit will be voted on by the community with awards given for Best In Show ($200), 1st Place ($125), 2nd Place ($75), and Honorable Mention. Entry fee is $15.00. All artists that reside in Texas are eligible.
