Art Ability 2018 at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital

Art Ability is an international juried exhibition and sale of art and fine crafts by artists with disabilities, running November 3, 2018 - January 27, 2019 at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

Eligibility: Open to artists with physical, cognitive, visual and hearing disabilities. Only work created after the onset of a disability or injury is eligible. All works must be for sale. Art previously exhibited in Art Ability is not eligible. Works must have been created within the last five years. Acceptable media include works on paper, canvas or board, photography, mixed media, sculpture, jewelry and fine crafts. No dimension should be less than 13" or more than 48" framed, and each piece cannot exceed 25 lbs. Two-dimensional pieces require appropriate framing and hanging hardware; specific framing guidelines apply based on medium. Reproduction prints will not be accepted.

Submission: Artists may submit up to six works through the CaFE website (callforentry.org). There is no entry fee. Submit one JPEG image per work along with title, medium, size, year completed, and price. Artists are invited to submit one work reflecting the 2018 theme "Healing" (title it "Healing" followed by your name). Deadline: July 18, 2018. Awards and Sales: Distinguished members of the greater Philadelphia arts community will judge submissions by media category. Each accepted work is eligible for prizes up to $1,000 per piece, with more than $7,000 in total prizes awarded. Artists earn 80 percent of sales during the 12-week exhibition.
