Art Ability 2014-2015 Exhibition at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital

Art Ability is an international, juried exhibition and sale of art and fine crafts featuring work by artists with physical, cognitive, hearing, and visual disabilities. The 2014-2015 Annual Art Ability Exhibit and Sale is on display from November 2, 2014 through January 25, 2015 at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern, PA.

Eligibility: Open to artists with physical, cognitive, visual, and hearing disabilities. Only work executed after the onset of a disability or injury is eligible. All works must be for sale. Art previously exhibited in Art Ability is not eligible. Reproduction prints will not be accepted. Eligible media include works on paper, canvas or board, mixed media, sculpture, jewelry, photography, and fine crafts. Framed work must have a maximum height of 48" and minimum height of 13". Sculpture must not exceed 25 lbs. All works must be framed, wired, and ready to hang. Glass frames must be substituted with Plexiglas.

Submission: Artists will be notified of preliminary acceptance by August 18, 2014. Submission is via the CaFE System (no entry fee) or by mail on CD ($20 processing fee). Once accepted, artists must ship work in reusable cartons or crates. Shipping costs to and from the exhibit are covered by BMRH. Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital retains a 20% commission on all sales during the 12-week show. Unsold work will be returned. Selected artists may be invited to participate in Art Ability's ongoing sales and exhibition programs, which carry a 40% commission.
