Art 64 Painting Tournament

ART 64 is the nation's largest live bracket-style painting tournament, taking place in The Village of Wauwatosa for the 5th year. Discover Wauwatosa seeks 64 artists to participate in this two-day event presented by North Shore Bank on June 5-6, 2026 (rain date June 7, 2026).

Artists will compete in three rounds with increasing time limits: 60 minutes in round 1, 75 minutes in round 2, and 90 minutes in round 3 (the final round). Each round's theme or subject is the artist's choice. The public, both in-person and virtually, will watch the paintings come to life and vote for their favorite artists online. Artist live streaming is encouraged.

Eligibility is open to any artist age 18 and older across the country and beyond. All 64 participating artists will receive a minimum of $100. Artists advancing to Round 2 receive $250 in total, Round 3 receive $750 in total, and the sole winner receives $20,000 in total. The entry fee is $20, with all application fees going directly to funding artist prizes. The international deadline is March 1, 2026.
