aRT 4 Animals

A call for art related to animals to benefit rescue animals, artists, and art appreciators. The Red Bluff Art Gallery supports artists worldwide and has sponsored more than 300 exhibitions, including international touring exhibitions. All fine art mediums are acceptable, including painting, printmaking, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, photography, textiles, digital work, and combinations thereof. Artists are encouraged to submit work featuring animal portraits, wildlife preservation, habitat promotion, and other animal-related themes.

Selected artwork will be featured and promoted in an online Virtual Gallery Exhibition throughout 2024. The exhibition will include direct links to artists for building connections and optional sales opportunities. Artists retain 100% of proceeds from any artwork sales. The exhibition is scheduled to open March 1, 2024 and run through March 1, 2025. Entry fees are $28 for the first entry and $14 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 entries. All entry fees support the Accidental Animal Rescue Center sanctuary and the costs associated with administering the competition, constructing and hosting the virtual gallery, and marketing the exhibition. All artists, both professional and amateur, are eligible to enter. Jury selection will be conducted by gallery directors from February 1 through March 1, 2024. Notifications of selections will be sent by email.
