This is the 9th annual exhibit, scheduled to open in October 2019, with selected artists installing their work in the first week of October.
Eligibility is regional for artists in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, Kansas, and Nebraska. Sculptures must be three-dimensional, freestanding works in any medium suitable for outdoor exhibition. Artists must transport, install, and de-install their own artwork. All sculptures must be attached to a steel plate bolted to a concrete base. Selected artists will receive a $1,000 stipend for transportation, installation, and de-installation. The Havana BID is providing cash awards: 1st Place $1,250, 2nd Place $750, 3rd Place $500. Sculptures may be purchased from the exhibit and added to Aurora's public art collection.
