Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Art Market 2026 (AMFA Art Market)

The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Art Market (AMFA Art Market) celebrates the institution's mission of creating an inclusive cultural space that inspires and builds community through the visual and performing arts. Up to 50 jury-selected artists will be featured within the event spaces of this award-winning building. The AMFA Windgate Art School will also host an Emerging Artist Marketplace featuring a rotation of 20 Arkansas artists who have little to no experience exhibiting and selling their artwork. Emerging artists will participate and sell their work on Saturday or Sunday of the Art Market. Entrance to the Art Market and the museum is free.

The event takes place September 11-13, 2026, with artist arrival and setup on Thursday, September 10. Hours are Friday, September 11, 10 am–8 pm (AMFA Members only); Saturday, September 12, 10 am–5 pm (open to public); and Sunday, September 13, 11 am–4 pm (open to public). The venue is located at 501 East Ninth Street, Little Rock, AR 72202.

Artists must submit 5 images (4 hi-resolution images of artwork and 1 booth image) and an artist's statement. The early bird application fee is $40 through March 27, 2026; the regular application fee is $50 through May 8, 2026. Up to 50 artists will exhibit, with 25 spots available for juried applicants and 7 artists or galleries invited by the Art Market Director. The jury process is blind and uses a competitive monitor jury of three art professionals who evaluate applications based on artistic excellence, quality, creativity, and overall impression. Emerging Artists must be Arkansas residents with limited to no experience exhibiting and selling artwork in a juried festival, market, or fair. Upon acceptance, Emerging Artists pay a reduced booth fee of $150 for one 3' x 6' studio table. Permitted media categories include ceramics, drawing/pastels, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, and mixed media.
