Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Art Market 2025

The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Art Market (AMFA Art Market) celebrates the institution's mission of creating an inclusive cultural space that inspires and builds community through the visual and performing arts. This market will showcase a variety of artists whose work is dynamic, unique and features artistic excellence. Up to 30 jury-selected artists within the event spaces of this award-winning building will be featured. In addition, the AMFA Windgate Art School will have an Emerging Artist Marketplace featuring a rotation of 20 Arkansas artists who have little to no experience exhibiting and selling their artwork. Emerging artists will participate and sell their work on Saturday or Sunday of the Art Market.

The event takes place September 4-7, 2025 at 501 East Ninth Street Little Rock, AR 72202. Thursday, September 4 is artist arrival and set-up (9 am - 4 pm) followed by an AMFA Donor and Artist Mingle (5 pm - 8 pm). Friday, September 5, 10 am – 8 pm is open to all AMFA Members. Saturday, September 6, 10 am - 5 pm and Sunday, September 7, 11 am – 4 pm are open to the public. Entrance to the Art Market and the museum is free.

Applicants must submit 4 hi-resolution images of artwork and 1 booth image. The early bird application fee is $35 through March 23, 2025, and the regular application fee is $45 from March 27-31, 2025. Approximately 30 artists will exhibit, with 23 spots available for juried applicants and 7 artists invited by the Art Market Director. Accepted media categories include ceramics, drawing/pastels, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood. Emerging Artists pay a reduced booth fee of $100 and must be Arkansas residents.
