Arizona Sculpture

Arizona Sculpture is a statewide regional juried exhibition of original 3-dimensional art. All sculptural methods are accepted including stone, metal, fiber, and mixed media. The exhibit presents varied works of 3-dimensional art by Arizona artists. Open to Arizona artists only. Work must have been completed within the last 24 months and must not have been previously displayed at TCA. All artwork must be the original creation of the artist.

Exhibition dates are November 18 - December 31, 2022. The opening reception is Friday, November 18, 2022, 5-7pm. Juror Lee Blackwell, an Arizona sculptor known for his works in copper and steel, will select awards in person during the opening reception. Awards include Best of Show ($200), Award of Excellence ($150), Award of Merit ($100), and three Honorable Mention awards ($50 each).

Entry fee is $35 ($32 with TCA Member discount using code SCULPTURE22). Additional entries are $3 each up to 3 total entries ($2 each with member discount using code extra22). Up to three works may be entered for consideration via digital images in jpg format only. All artwork must be able to be presented on a pedestal, gallery floor, or hung from wall or ceiling with appropriate hardware. All work must be for sale; TCA retains a 40% commission. Artists are responsible for shipping to and from TCA. Unsold work will be shipped back to the artist after the close of the exhibition at the artist's expense; artists must provide a barcoded preprinted prepaid shipping label for return. Application deadline is October 14, 2022. Jury process occurs October 15-19, with artist notifications on October 21. Shipped work is due November 9-14; hand-delivered artwork is due November 14. Artwork pickup is January 2, with shipped work returned the week of January 9.
