Arizona Aqueous XXXVI

A national juried exhibition for water-based pigments on paper. Eligible entries include paper constructions, paper sculpture, paper collage, cut paper, mobiles, two or three-dimensional wall pieces, and installations. Work must be innovative in concept and approach, whether representational or abstract, and completed within the last 24 months. Giclee reproductions are not permitted. Work previously displayed at TCA or that has been shown elsewhere is not eligible. All work must be the original creation of the artist.

Juror Ron Pokrasso is an exhibiting artist, printmaker, and educator with over 40 years of experience. He received his MFA from Pratt Institute in 1975 and has had over 50 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 175 group shows. He will exhibit his artwork in the Master Gallery at Tubac Center of the Arts concurrently with this exhibition and will teach a workshop January 10-12, 2022.

Awards: Best of Show $1,000, Juror's Award $500, Award of Excellence $250, Award of Merit $100, Honorable Mention $75 (two awards). Entry fee is $36 ($32 with TCA Member discount), plus $5 per additional entry image up to 4 entries ($3 with member discount). Up to four works may be entered. All artwork must arrive ready to hang and suitably matted in white, black, or neutral colors, simply framed, and firmly wired. All work must be for sale; TCA retains a 40% commission. Exhibition runs January 7 - February 20, 2022. Opening reception is Friday, January 7, 5-7pm. Artists are responsible for shipping to and from TCA and must provide a prepaid shipping label for return of unsold work.
