About This Call
The Aquarius National Watermedia Exhibition 2014 is open to all artists 18 years of age or older living and working in the USA. Entry fee is $45.00. Submissions must include 1-3 images of watermedia work.
Work must be predominately water media. No digital art, photography, or reproductions are accepted. Source material must be original and not derived from published images not owned by the artist. No work done in a class or workshop setting. Collage material must be painted by the artist. Any signature membership designations used by the artist must be authentic. Work must not have been previously shown in an SCWS exhibition nor shown at Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center, Pueblo.
All works must be professionally presented and ready for hanging on a wall with wire and hardware in place. No saw tooth hangers. No glass; only plexiglass will be accepted. Works not ready for hanging will be excluded. All works must be offered for sale. Accepted entries may not be removed or substituted before the close of the exhibition. If an artist fails to send an accepted painting, the artist will be ineligible for the next two SCWS Aquarius Shows. Both SCWS and the Juror reserve the right to decline any art deemed unacceptable.
