About This Call

Gallerium presents Aquarium 2025, the 3rd annual international juried exhibition, publication, and sales opportunity celebrating water in art. Artists worldwide are invited to create interpretations of water across all themes, from water as the origin of life and symbol of transformation to environmental conservation, oceanic life, waterscapes, and abstract explorations.

Selected artists will have their work featured in an online international group exhibition running July 2 to September 2, 2025, with exposure to a global audience of collectors and art professionals. Jury-selected works will be showcased on Artsy.net, the world's largest network of art collectors. A subset of selected artworks will be published in The Book of Art, a professional publication for contemporary artists. All exhibited artists receive a digital certificate of participation, permanent online presence with artist profiles, exhibition catalogue inclusion, downloadable exhibition posters, and detailed performance reports with visitor feedback and engagement analytics. Up to 10 outstanding artists will receive an Honorable Mention Artist Award digital certificate. Artists will also receive a complimentary professional profile page on the Biafarin platform.

Open to all artists worldwide of any age, background, or career stage. All 2D and 3D mediums accepted, including painting, drawing, digital, mixed media, sculpture, installation, fiber art, and photography. Submission is free; only jury-selected artists pay a USD 40 selection fee (USD 34 with early bird 15% discount). Up to 6 artworks can be submitted, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. Jurying uses a two-phase process: Yes/No selection followed by scoring from 1 to 10 by jury members, with highest-scoring artworks in the "Yes" group selected.
