April Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery invites 2D artists and photographers to apply for the April Group Art Show. The gallery is located in a 100-year-old historically registered building with 9,000 square feet of display space in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District. The gallery has been in business for 10 years and is open full time six days a week.

This group art show is open to 2D artists and photographers only. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery may select up to a maximum of 3 originals to exhibit. Artwork must not exceed 48" width x 72" height and must be wired on the back ready to hang. The exhibition runs from Wednesday, April 1st to Thursday, April 23rd, 2020, with a First Friday Artist Reception on April 3rd from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Local artists are required to be present during the First Friday reception.

Entry fee is $25 for up to 5 image submissions. The deadline is Saturday, March 1st. Artists receive 75% of sales, with the gallery retaining 25%. Local artists may deliver work Friday, March 27th or Saturday, March 28th (11:00 am to 5:00 pm). National artists may ship work anytime after selection up to Saturday, March 28th; artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks following the closing date. Artists must create two tags for each piece (no larger than 3.5" x 5") labeled with artist name, title, medium, price, city, and state. The gallery does not assume liability for loss or damage to artwork; artists are responsible for independently insuring their own work.
