April Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for the April Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in business for over 12 years, open full time six days a week.

This group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers nationwide (18 years or older). No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will select 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces per artist to display. Artists may submit up to 5 images for jury review. The exhibition runs Wednesday, March 30th through Thursday, April 28th, with a First Friday Artist Reception on April 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Maximum artwork size is 48" width x 72" height. Entry fee is $30.00.

Artists receive 75% of sales; the gallery retains 25%. Payment will be made by Sunday, May 1st. Local artists are requested to be present during the First Friday reception. Artwork must be wired on the back and ready to hang. Artists must provide two tags (no larger than 3.5" x 5") for each piece, labeled with artist name, title, medium, price, city, and state. Out-of-state artists shipping work are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance, and must include prepaid return shipping labels. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks following the exhibition closing date.
