April Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for the April Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in business for over 10 years, open full time six days a week.

This group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will jury submissions and select 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces to exhibit. Artists may submit up to 5 images for review. The entry fee is $30. Artists must be 18 years of age or older, and all artwork must be original and for sale. Maximum artwork display size is 48" width x 72" height. Artwork must be wired on the back ready to hang.

The exhibition runs Wednesday, April 5th through Thursday, April 27th, with a First Friday Artist Reception on April 7th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Local artists are requested to be present at the reception. Delivery dates are Friday, March 31st and Saturday, April 1st (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Pick-up dates are Friday, April 28th and Saturday, April 29th (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Out-of-state artists may ship artwork with prepaid return shipping labels; FedEx is preferred, though UPS and USPS are accepted. Artwork must be shipped in strong, reusable cartons or crates with reusable packing material. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks following the closing date. Artists receive 75% of sales; the gallery retains 25%. Artists are paid by Monday, May 1st.
