Apricity

Apricity is an exhibition by WCA/NH (Women's Caucus for Art/New Hampshire) at Kimball Jenkins gallery in Concord, NH. The exhibition opens January 9, 2026 with an opening reception from 6-8 pm. A second event, Art in Bloom, takes place January 22-24, 2026, featuring floral arrangements inspired by the artwork, with a reception on January 23 from 5-7 pm. Floral arrangements will be displayed in both galleries, and WCA/NH members may participate in creating arrangements alongside Garden Club members.

Eligibility is limited to current dues-paying members of WCA/NH. Artists may submit up to three works in any medium; there is no requirement for work to depict flowers, and 3-D works are welcome. A single flat fee of $20 covers submission of up to three works. Submissions will be curated by Inez McDermont, WCA/NH founding member, who will make an effort to select at least one work from each artist member. Artwork specifications require that framed works on paper be matted or lifted away from glass with archival matting or spacers. Frames and mats must be clean, professionally constructed, and undamaged. Framed works must be wired and ready to hang at delivery. Saw tooth hangers, pop-in frames, free-standing pieces, and plastic frames are not accepted. The curator and Executive Director reserve the right to reject any work upon delivery.

Delivery takes place December 17-18 and December 21, 2025 from 11 am-2 pm. Shipped work must arrive by December 21, 2025 and include a prepaid return shipping label. Pickup is February 15, 2026 from 1-4 pm and February 16, 2026 from 10 am-2 pm. Work must remain in the exhibit from drop-off until pickup with no exceptions. Any unclaimed work becomes the property of Kimball Jenkins. Kimball Jenkins will insure work while on the gallery premises; artists are responsible for insurance during delivery or shipping. The gallery handles all sales with a 30% commission, and artists will receive checks at the conclusion of the exhibition. Gallery viewing hours are Mondays 11 am-6 pm (January 12-February 9), Thursdays 11 am-6 pm (January 15-February 12), select Fridays 11 am-6 pm, and select Saturdays 10 am-1 pm.
