About This Call
Apogaea is a collaborative outdoor arts and music festival held in the mountains of Colorado. It establishes a temporary autonomous zone where radical self-expression, inclusiveness, and self-reliance are the hallmarks of its participants. Apogaea is an opportunity to create and contribute, experience and evolve, share and accept, work and play.
Art at Apogaea includes any medium including performance art, sound art, light, sculpture, workshops, and how you decorate your camp or vehicle. Applicants may submit up to 5 applications with a maximum of 14 total work samples (up to 10 images, 2 audio files, and 2 video files).
Apogaea offers an art grant program to help fund your art. The deadline for applying for a $18,500 maximum grant (usually $200-$1500) is January 25, 2011, and February 25, 2011 for a $300 maximum grant. For more information about art grants, visit http://apogaea.com/art-camps-things/art-grants/
