About This Call
Apogaea is a collaborative outdoor arts and music festival held in the mountains of Colorado. It is an experiential forum where the community practices freedom of expression in an environment of participation, sharing, and creativity.
In the spirit of the Burning Man event, Apogaea establishes a temporary autonomous zone where radical self-expression, inclusiveness, and self-reliance are the hallmarks of its participants. Art at Apogaea includes any medium including performance art, sound art, workshops, and how you decorate your camp or vehicle.
Apogaea offers a Creative Grant program to help fund your art. The deadline for grants is January 31, 2011 (no maximum grant amount) or March 31, 2011 ($300 maximum). Up to 10 work samples may be submitted with applications. For more information, visit www.apogaea.com under "Art, Camps & Things."
