About This Call
APERTURES 2020 is an open-theme photography exhibition open to all photographers worldwide, both amateur and professional. Any and all methods of capture and process are welcome, including film, digital, alternative process, and iPhone photography. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. Stills only; no video.
Participants may submit 1-20 images in JPEG format. Images must be no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi, with a maximum file size of 5 mb. Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.
Winners will be selected by director's choice and displayed in the online gallery at www.cultural-center.org. Awards include First Place: $500 cash prize, Second Place: $200 cash prize, and Third Place: $100 cash prize. Winners will be notified by email in November 2020. No personal feedback is provided by jurors. All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist's website.
