Aperture: Current Approaches to Photography

Artlink Contemporary Gallery is accepting submissions for Aperture, a juried group exhibition exploring current approaches to photography. All photography styles and techniques are accepted, from traditional to experimental approaches. The exhibition will be on view at Artlink from July 31 - August 24, 2025, concurrent with a solo exhibition of cyanotypes created using live honeybees by the juror, Brent Dedas.

Artists must be 18+ years of age and reside within the United States to enter. Entry fee is $12 per entry, with up to 10 entries accepted. Work size limit is 48". The entry deadline is June 16, 2025 at 11:59pm MT. Jury notifications will be sent after June 23, 2025. Artwork drop-off/delivery deadline is July 20, 2025.

Accepted works must be professionally presented and ready for installation upon delivery. Traditional framed artwork must be ready to hang with wire (no saw-tooth hangers). Identification labels with artist name and title should be attached to the back of the work. All artwork sales are subject to a 35% sales fee, with checks mailed to artists following the close of the exhibition. Artwork will be insured during exhibition at Artlink. Artlink is not liable for damage or loss in transit to the gallery, and any damage caused by improper preparation by the artist will not be covered. Hand-delivered artwork is accepted during gallery hours: Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday/Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 12-5pm. Shipped work must be sent via UPS, FedEx, or USPS with a return shipping label and must arrive by July 20, 2025. Shipped work must be framed with plexiglass (no glass permitted).
