Anxiety in a Time of Pandemic

Anxiety in a Time of Pandemic is a juried exhibition open to all artists over the age of 16 who reside in the United States. The exhibition aims to exhibit works of art expressing the impact artists have felt during this unprecedented time in society, with a focus on how anxiety has become more prevalent since the beginning of COVID-19 and other current global events.

The exhibition accepts paintings, printmaking, photography, drawings, prints, mixed media, and sculpture. No video work is accepted. All entries must be original pieces completed in the last two years and must be accurately represented in high-resolution (300dpi) jpeg images not exceeding 5MB. Sculpture should not exceed 7 feet in height due to gallery space. Professional presentation is required: 2D artwork must be framed with a secure hanging method, canvas sides and staples must be covered, and sculpture must be fully assembled and structurally sound with detailed installation instructions if necessary.

Entry fee is $25 per artist, invoiced upon receipt of entry regardless of acceptance. Entries are due by January 23, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Artists will be notified on or before January 30, 2021. Artwork delivery is March 4-6, 2021 during gallery hours. The exhibition runs March 17 - April 2, 2021, with artwork pickup April 8-10, 2021. Delivery and pickup are the artist's responsibility. Sales are encouraged with the gallery receiving a 30% commission. Any work not picked up 30 days after the exhibition ends becomes the property of Indiana University Kokomo Downtown Gallery.
