About This Call
Diversia presents the 31st exhibition artist call from the Diversia series, focusing on the destructive aspects of regional and global wars, conflicts, and attacks, and their consequences and aftermath. The exhibition marks the international day of commemoration in memory of the victims of the holocaust on January 27. Artists are invited to submit artistic interpretations addressing various aspects of war and conflict, including the destructive physical consequences on humanity and the environment, the cultural, social, emotional, and economic effects of wars and genocides, honoring victims, and promoting peace and human fraternity.
All artists working in 2D and 3D media are invited to submit from anywhere in the world. Submission is free; a USD 35 selection fee applies only to selected artists. Artists can submit up to 6 artworks, with a maximum of 2 accepted per artist. Artworks must be original, created by the entrant without instructor supervision, and not copies or derivatives of copyrighted work. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, though there is no creation year limit. All styles and visual arts categories are accepted, including painting, drawing, photography, digital arts, sculpture, ceramic art, installation, and mixed media. Artworks that include pornography, violence, racial or religious hatred, or offensive content are not admissible.
Selected artworks will be exhibited online from January 27 through March 31, 2024, and promoted for sales. Benefits include publication in an exhibition catalogue (online and print), promotion on ARTSY, digital certificate, artist profile page on Biafarin platform, exhibition poster and promotional badges, visitor reviews and ratings, exhibition analytics and sales reports, and potential publication in Biafarin art media. A money-back guarantee is available for selection fees until the exhibition's official opening day.
