About This Call
Diversia presents the 31st exhibition in its series, focusing on the destructive aspects of regional and global wars, conflicts, and attacks, and their consequences and aftermath. The exhibition marks January 27, the international day of commemoration in memory of victims of the Holocaust, and seeks artistic interpretations addressing various aspects of war and conflict including the physical, cultural, social, emotional, and economic effects of wars, attacks, terrors, genocides, and conflicts; honoring victims who have lost families, homes, and been injured or disabled; and promoting the values of friendship, peace, life, and freedom.
All visual artists worldwide working in 2D and 3D media are invited to submit original artworks in any style. Artists can submit up to 5 pieces, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. Submission is free; a USD 35 selection fee applies to selected artists only. Artwork photos should show only the artwork without frames or backgrounds. Artworks must be entirely the work of the entrant and not copies or derivatives of copyrighted work. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, though there is no creation year limit. Artworks addressing pornography, violence, racial or religious hatred, or offensive content are not admissible.
Selected artworks will be exhibited online from January 27 through March 31, 2024. Awards include online and print exhibition catalogues, digital certificates, promotional badges, artwork reviews from visitors, exhibition promotion, analytics reports, and potential publication in Biafarin network art media. Selected artworks will be promoted for online sales, and each artist receives a free profile page on the Biafarin platform.
