About This Call
Diversia presents the 20th exhibition from its series, focusing on the destructive aspects of regional and global wars, conflicts, and attacks, and their consequences and aftermath. This international online group exhibition invites artistic interpretations addressing various aspects of war and conflict, including the physical consequences of wars on humanity and the environment, the cultural, social, emotional, and economic effects of wars and genocides, honoring victims of wars worldwide, and the importance of peace, freedom, and tolerance.
All visual artists worldwide working in any medium are invited to submit up to 6 original artworks. Entry fee is $20 for the first artwork and $10 for each additional artwork (up to 6 total). Selected artworks will be exhibited online from February 28, 2022 to March 31, 2022. Awards include exhibition placement, catalogue publication, digital promotional badges, artwork reviews from visitors, exhibition promotion, analytics reports, and a digital certificate. Three artists with the highest visitor ratings will win a US$300 cash prize ($100 per artist via PayPal). Selected artworks will be promoted for sales through the online exhibition.
Artwork eligibility requirements: artworks must be original works created by the entrant without instructor supervision, preferably created within the last 5 years, in any abstract or representational style addressing the exhibition theme. All visual art media are accepted including painting, drawing, photography, digital arts, sculpture, mixed media, and others. Artworks must not include pornographic, violent, or hateful content. Artists must retain all rights for international presentation and publication. Maximum 2 artworks may be selected from each artist.
