Another Moment in Time Spring Art Competition

The Old Town Arts & Crafts Guild, Inc., a 72-year-old gallery located on the east end of Long Island, announces a juried art exhibition titled Another Moment in Time. The exhibition is open to all artists age 18 and older residing in the United States. Entries are accepted in three categories: Fine Art, Photography, and Mixed Media (Crafts). Artists may enter up to three pieces per category. The entry fee is $35 for up to three entries and $5 per additional entry.

The juror is Seung Lee, an award-winning internationally known artist and Director of Fine Arts at Long Island University. Awards will be made in each category: First place $150, Second Place $100, Third place $75. The exhibition will be held at the gallery located at 28265 Main Road, Cutchogue, NY from October 30 to November 10, 2020, with an opening reception and award announcements on October 30 from 5-7 pm. Gallery hours are Mondays-Saturdays 10 am - 5 pm and Sundays 12 pm - 5 pm.

Two-dimensional works cannot exceed 30" x 36" including frame. Three-dimensional works cannot exceed 24" in height, width or depth. All works must be framed, mounted, or displayed according to professional gallery standards. Submissions must include 3-20 images in JPEG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, under 5 MB each. A brief artist statement of 50-100 words is required. Artists are responsible for shipping and insurance costs. Artwork must arrive by October 24, 2020. Accepted artists will be notified by October 12, 2020. The Old Town Arts & Crafts Guild retains a 30% gallery commission on works sold during the exhibition.
