Anonymous Society Flat File Project

The Flat File Project hosted by Anonymous Society aims to present artwork in an innovative and accessible format, offering a dynamic platform for artists to exhibit their work. Selected pieces will be included in a curated flat file collection, prominently featured within the gallery. This unique presentation allows for easy viewing and handling, fostering a deeper connection between the artist and the viewer. The project enhances visibility for participating artists, providing opportunities for engagement with a diverse audience of gallery visitors, curators, and collectors. All works in the collection will be available for purchase and featured online, offering artists the chance to reach new collectors.

Anonymous Society is an art gallery in Redding, Connecticut, dedicated to presenting and promoting works by both emerging and established artists. Through careful curation and unwavering support, the gallery contributes to a thriving art market while nurturing creativity and fostering community appreciation.

Eligibility is open to emerging and established artists over the age of 18, working in any two-dimensional media (painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, mixed media, etc.). All artwork must be made within the last three years. Works must be unframed and fit within 18 x 24 inches. Artists may submit up to 5 works for consideration. All work must be for sale and priced under $500, with a 50/50 artist/gallery split from sales. Submission requires high-resolution images, titles with dimensions, medium, and year of creation, an artist statement (250 words max, first person), and a short artist biography (150 words max, third person). Entry fee is $30 (non-refundable). Event dates: 11/15/24 - 11/14/25.
