Annual Juried Student Exhibition

The Annual Juried Student Exhibition is open to all degree-seeking students currently enrolled at Indiana State University. All artworks entered must have been completed while enrolled at ISU and not previously exhibited in the Yang Family University Art Gallery.

Each student can submit up to 3 works in any medium, including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, mixed media, video, and digital art. Artworks must not exceed 72 inches in any direction and must be ready to install. Works on paper or delicate works must be framed behind plexiglass. Works on canvas must be stretched. Hanging devices such as wires, d-rings, and French cleats must be on the back of works. Printed digital works need to be mounted on foam-core and do not need hanging devices on the back. Video works must be formatted as 1920x1080px and saved as mp4 files (one file per USB flashdrive, labeled with the work title). All artwork must be labeled on the back with title, year, medium, dimensions, signature, and retail value.

Submission deadline is February 17, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Selected work must be dropped off February 27 - March 1, 2023, 11am-4pm at the Yang Family University Art Gallery (Landini Center for Performing and Fine Arts), 300 North 7th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47809. Notification of selection is February 24, 2023. The exhibition runs March 20 - April 7, 2023, with a reception and award ceremony on March 30, 2023 from 4-6pm. Work collection is April 10-12, 2023. Any uncollected works will become the property of the University Art Galleries.
