Annual Cup Show (2024)

The Annual Cup Show invites ceramic artists to submit functional ceramic mugs, cups, tumblers, and similar vessels. Nationally recognized ceramic artist Maliya Travers-Crumb will jury the exhibition. Accepted work will be displayed and sold in The Krikorian Gallery at the Worcester Center for Crafts and listed in the online store at wccgallerystore.com.

Submissions must include 4-10 high quality images of 4-6 pieces. Entry fee is $30 ($15 for currently enrolled students and self-identifying BIPOC artists). Work must be functional ceramics no larger than 10" tall and 6" wide, available for sale with retail prices not exceeding $150 per piece. Open to artists ages 18 and over living or working in the United States. Results will be announced October 10, 2024. Hand-delivery of accepted work is October 11-20, 2024, or shipped work must arrive by October 19, 2024. The exhibition runs December 5-24, 2024.

Awards include a $150 juror's choice award, $100 student award, and $50 staff choice artist award, announced at the exhibition opening. All accepted pieces must be accompanied by a signed consignment contract. The Handcrafted Shop retains 50% of sales proceeds. Unsold work will be shipped for return starting January 27, 2025, or may be picked up January 27-February 1, 2025.
