About This Call
The Worcester Center for Crafts invites ceramic artists to submit work for the Annual Cup Show, on view December 1-24, 2021 at The Krikorian Gallery. Nationally recognized ceramic artist Kelly Justice will jury the exhibition. Work will be displayed and sold in the gallery and listed in the online store at wccgallerystore.com.
Submit 4-10 high quality images of 4-6 functional ceramic pieces (mugs, cups, tumblers, or similar). Work must be no larger than 10" tall and 6" wide, available for sale with retail prices not exceeding $150 per piece. Open to artists living or working in the United States, ages 18 and over. Entry fee is $30 ($15 for currently enrolled students and self-identifying BIPOC artists). Results will be announced October 11, 2021. Hand-delivered work is accepted October 11-20, 2021; shipped work must arrive by October 20, 2021.
Accepted pieces must be accompanied by a signed consignment contract and prepaid return shipping label. The gallery store receives 50% of sales profits. Awards include $150 juror's choice, $100 student award, and $100 BIPOC artist award, announced at the exhibition opening. Unsold work may be picked up January 5 - February 1, 2022, or will be returned via prepaid shipping starting January 15, 2022. Contact Candace Casey at [email protected] or (508) 753-1831 ext. 306 with questions.
