About This Call
The Worcester Center for Crafts invites ceramic artists to submit work for the Annual Cup Show, held in the Krikorian Gallery. Nationally recognized ceramic artist Joe Pintz will jury the show, with 25 ceramic artists invited to participate. The exhibition runs December 3-24, 2020.
Artists should submit 4-8 high quality images of 4-6 different ceramic pieces (mugs, cups, tumblers, and similar functional vessels). Size restriction: no larger than 10" tall and 6" wide. All pieces must be ceramic, functional, and available for sale. Entry fee is $30 ($15 for students and BIPOC artists). Eligibility is open to artists 18 years and older working or residing in North America.
Accepted artists will send 4-6 pieces to be displayed and sold in the Krikorian Gallery and online at wccgallerystore.com. Artists receive 50% commission on sold pieces. A $200 juror's choice award, $50 student award, and $50 BIPOC artist award will be announced at the exhibition opening. All accepted pieces must be accompanied by a signed consignment contract and prepaid return shipping label. Unsold work will be shipped for return beginning January 15th, or artists may pick up unsold pieces between January 5th and February 1st, 2021. Contact Michelle Grey at [email protected] or (508) 753-1831 ext. 308 with questions.
