Annual Contemporary Art Survey

The Fort Collins Lincoln Center invites visual artists residing in the US to enter the Annual Contemporary Art Survey, a national juried exhibition with Guest Curator Dean Sobel, Executive Director of the Clyfford Still Museum in Denver, CO. The exhibition is an open call to artists working in all media. The Fort Collins Lincoln Center seeks works in all media that together will present a survey of contemporary art in America. Representational and conceptual work will be considered.

Entry fee is $35.00 for up to three different artworks per artist in any combination of media, including installation and video. Artists must submit work completed in the past two years (since August 2013). Work sample requirements: up to 6 images, up to 3 audio files, and up to 3 video files, with a minimum of 1 total sample and maximum of 6 total samples. Please include title, dimensions, media, and year completed for each piece. A short (1-2 sentence) description is optional. Artists 18 years and older whose primary residence is in the United States may apply. Artists residing in the City of Fort Collins may receive a discount by entering the code ACAS2015.

The exhibition runs August 28 – October 10, 2015. Notification to artists will be July 2, 2015. Artwork delivery is August 17-21, 2015. Reception and Awards Presentation is Friday, August 28, 2015, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. $1700 in cash prizes will be awarded, including a Grand Prize of $1000. The Fort Collins Lincoln Center will retain a 30% commission on all sales made as a result of the exhibition. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance during shipping. The Lincoln Center will insure artworks for their insurance value or retail value while on the premises. Artwork will be returned and shipped from Lincoln Center by October 16, 2015.
