About This Call
Gallerium presents Animals of the Planet 2025, the 2nd annual juried international exhibition, publication, and sales opportunity dedicated to celebrating the beauty, spirit, and significance of animals in our world—both real and imagined.
Artists worldwide are invited to express their artistic vision of animals and their essence in any 2D or 3D medium—abstract or representational. Themes to explore include wildlife in natural habitats, beloved pets, the human-animal connection, creatures of fantasy and myth, endangered species, animal diversity, urban wildlife, symbolic and spiritual creatures, animals in motion and expression, and habitats and interactions. Up to 6 artworks can be submitted, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist.
Selected artworks will be featured in an exclusive two-month global online exhibition running from June 7 to August 7, 2025. A subset of selected artworks may be published in The Book of Arts: Animals of the Planet, available in digital and premium print editions. Selected works will also be showcased on Artsy, one of the leading platforms for art collectors worldwide. All exhibited works will be available for viewing and sale through the online showcase. Up to 10 outstanding artists will receive a personalized distinguished artist award digital certificate. All selected artists will receive a digital certificate of participation, a downloadable exhibition poster, artwork visibility badges, and a complimentary professional artist profile on the Biafarin platform. Artists will receive visitor feedback, performance insights, and detailed reports on exhibition visits, artwork engagement, and sales performance.
Submission is free. Selected artists will pay a selection fee of USD 40 (or USD 34 with early bird discount). A money-back guarantee is available for all selection fee payments until the exhibition's official opening day. Entry deadline: May 15, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
