Animalia: The Creatures in our World

Animalia: The Creatures in our World seeks artwork of or inspired by animals, creatures, family pets, wild animals, insects, or any other type of creature. R Gallery's goal is to create exhibits that showcase the many different styles of Colorado's talented artists. The exhibition is open to all mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media.

Eligibility is limited to Colorado residents. All entries must be of original design and personal execution. Submissions should include 3-10 images. It is best to submit pieces less than 30" wide, including frame or case, though a few spots are available for pieces up to 48" wide. Entry fee is $35.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Notification of acceptance will be sent by August 16. Accepted works must arrive by the last dropoff day (September 17-20). The exhibition runs from September 22 through October 25, 2020.

All sales will be handled through R Gallery with a 50% commission charged. All pieces must remain up for the duration of the exhibition and must be for sale. R Gallery reserves the right to sell accepted works online during the exhibition. Work will be returned by the 15th of the following month after the exhibit closes unless otherwise agreed upon. A prepaid return label must be provided if sending work by carrier.
