Angelico Annual Juried Show

The Angelico Catholic Arts Guild, an outreach of the Angelico Project, invites artists to submit work for this juried exhibition. The exhibition showcases fine art works produced by artists in the greater Cincinnati region that explore invisible realities (such as love, hope, and the Creator's imagination) and the created world. Submitted artwork should evidence elements of Goodness, Truth, and Beauty; witness to the dignity of the human person; attest to the reality of the spiritual life; and demonstrate mastery of the artist's medium. Artwork does not need to be of a religious nature.

Eligibility: Open to any artist over 18 years old, professional or amateur, Catholic and non-Catholic. Artists must reside in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. All entries must be original work by the submitting artist, with a limit of three entries per artist. Work may be for sale or not-for-sale (NFS); the Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati will receive 20% of any sale.

Submission Details: Entry fee is $50 for up to three entries. Submit digital entries online via CaFÉ. Accepted media include painting, illumination, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, photography, work in precious metals, enamel, and liturgical textiles. Most 2-D pieces require frames; maximum wall art size (including frame) is 40" x 40". Sculpture and 3-D work must fit on a 20" x 20" x 39" pedestal. All work must be delivered ready-to-hang. Accepted artwork must be hand-delivered and retrieved; no shipped works accepted. Exhibition runs September 30 - October 11, 2023 at Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati, 6980 Cambridge Avenue, Mariemont, OH 45227. Opening reception: Saturday, September 30, 6-9 PM.
