Angad Arts Hotel 6th Biannual Exhibition

Angad Arts Hotel invites submissions for artwork from the Greater Saint Louis region (within 200 miles of the hotel) for display in 2022. The artwork selected will be prominently showcased in the public areas of Angad Arts Hotel, located in the Grand Center Arts District. Artwork will be part of a burgeoning art scene with high visibility to the public and opportunity for sale.

Submissions may include drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, printmaking, glass, assemblage, collage, written word, fiber, or sculpture. Final pieces must be professionally framed and/or ready for display. A special installation opportunity is available for a large textile piece with fixed height of 110 inches and width varying from 60 to 300 inches. Sculpture works must fit one of three options: wall-mounted (protruding no more than 6 inches), pedestal-mounted (no more than 2 feet tall with 1-foot maximum diameter), or ceiling-hung (no more than 50 lbs, limited to 5 feet by 5 feet dimensions, reaching no more than 8 feet from ceiling). Entry fee is $35 per artist (no fee in February). Submissions must include full name and contact information, social media handles, artist statement, purchase valuation including 33% commission, high-resolution JPEG of artwork with framing, and artwork title, size, weight, media description, and final dimensions with frame.

Eligibility is open to individuals living in the St. Louis region and surrounding 200-mile radius (Chicago, IL and Kansas City, MO are not eligible). Submission deadline is March 20, 2022 at 10:59 p.m. CST. Notification to all entrants will be sent by March 25, 2022. Artwork must be delivered no later than April 16, 2022, with delivery available April 14-16. The exhibition opens May 10, 2022 and remains on display until late October 2022. Selected artworks will be listed at www.shop.angadartshotel.com for purchase, with the hotel taking a 33% commission and the artist receiving 67% of the sale price. Artwork will be professionally photographed and promoted through the hotel's website, social media, and online shop.
