About This Call
Juror: Susan Cross, Curator, MASS MoCA
Only artists residing in Alaska are eligible. Each artist may submit up to four works for a non-refundable $25 entry fee. Entries may be submitted only by the artist or his/her agent. Copies and work done under instruction are ineligible. All works must have been completed within the last two years. Submissions must include between 1 and 4 work samples (images and/or videos).
Deadline for digital entries: July 1, 2012. Notification: August 1, 2012. Entries selected for Phase II judging (first round juried by digital entries only; final selections made by viewing actual work) must be delivered to the Anchorage Museum by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. All entries must be ready for installation or framed and ready to hang. Any framing device which does not cover glass edges will not be considered. Framed artwork with dimensions larger than 24" x 30" should be covered with plexiglass. The Museum will not be responsible for damages to larger works framed under glass.
Cash Juror Awards and honorable mentions will be given.
