Amuse Yeux: A Small Delight for the Eyes

Amuse Yeux is a mixed media small works exhibition, playing on the restaurant term "amuse bouche," meaning a bite-sized appetizer. The show presents the visual equivalent in a refined gallery setting. The exhibition was created to provide an opportunity for young adults in the community to begin art collections at an entry level price point. By hosting a show of small works, many created specifically for this exhibition, the Foothills Art Center can lower the price of works without sacrificing quality.

Artists may enter small works in any media. The entry fee is $10.00. Work sample requirements: submit 1-3 images (1-3 total samples). The show will be juried by Eriq Hochuli, Exhibitions Manager, with the aid of the FAC Board of Directors. The Foothills Art Center has also invited selected artists who have previously exhibited with the organization to exhibit alongside juried artists. The opportunity is open to international artists.
