AMoA Biennial 600

AMoA Biennial 600 is a juried exhibition of artworks selected by Rachel Sadvary Zebro, Associate Curator of Collections at the Phoenix Art Museum. The exhibition will be on view from October 4, 2025 through January 4, 2026. This is the eleventh iteration of an ongoing series of biennial exhibitions. Previous focuses included Drawing, Clay, Glass, Figurative Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Architecture, Textile/Fiber, Justice-Equality-Race-Identity, and an open call for all media in 2023. This year's call is open to artists working across all materials and genres.

Artists must be 18 years of age or older and reside within a 600-mile radius of Amarillo, Texas. Artists may submit images or videos of up to three artworks with a maximum of two additional detail images of each work. Work sample requirements: minimum 3 and maximum 9 total samples (3-9 images, 0-3 audio files, 0-3 video files). Artists working with any materials or genres are encouraged to apply. Artists whose work could be sited outdoors or with installation-based practices are encouraged to submit proposals. Artists whose work requires exceptionally challenging handling or installation may be required to assist with installation on-site.

Four awards will be chosen by the juror: Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Images of award-winning works will be included in a catalog/brochure. Each participating artist will receive two copies of the AMoA Biennial 600 catalog/brochure. The museum does not take a commission on works sold as a result of the exhibition. Artists are responsible for shipping or hand-delivering artwork to and from the museum and for insuring their artworks in transit. Works included in the exhibition will be insured while in AMoA's possession. Entry deadline: August 17, 2025. Artist notifications: on or before September 1, 2025.
