American Dream: Lost or Found?

The world we dream of isn't always what we encounter. Sometimes we need to create new dreams when what we have been told to hope for doesn't happen. Using the medium of your choice, tell the story of the American Dream: Lost or Found? in your world and community. A portion of all profits from this exhibit will be donated to the Friendship Shelter in Laguna Beach, which helps those encountering struggles recover and rebuild their lives when the American Dream seems to have passed them by.

Accepted work will be on display November 4-28, including during the First Thursday Art Walk on November 6. This call is open to all 2 dimensional art forms including but not necessarily limited to painting, drawing, illustration, mixed media, and photography. All artwork must be original art; no reproductions will be considered. Unframed canvases must be gallery wrapped and wired. All frames must be well constructed and wired for hanging. Art not properly wired for hanging cannot be displayed.

Orange County Creatives Gallery is located in Laguna Beach, a premier art community and bustling tourist destination. The gallery embraces talent rather than a specific genre or medium and accepts work from early-career artists, students, and amateurs as well as more established artists from across the US and Canada. Entry fee is $35.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Submit 1-5 images of your work.
