About This Call
The American Artisan Festival @ Artville is a juried show held at Nashville's Downtown Walk of Fame Park as part of the larger Artville citywide event. The festival spans three days (Friday-Sunday, September 25-27, 2026) with hours 11:00 am-6:00 pm Friday, 10:00 am-6:00 pm Saturday, and 11:00 am-5:00 pm Sunday. The festival offers more than $5,000 in awards and includes site-specific temporary art installations, local live music, a food court, and kids/family activities.
Eligible media includes 2D arts and crafts (digital art, photography, drawing, mixed media, painting, printmaking, works on paper) and 3D art and crafts (ceramics, wood, fiber/textiles, wearables, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, sculpture, mixed media). All artwork must be original and produced by the exhibiting artist; no commercial reproductions or embellished commercial products are allowed. Artists must disclose edition numbers if producing work in editions. All displayed work must be for sale or commission with clearly marked prices. All artists must be in attendance presenting their work; no sales representatives are allowed. Exhibitor tents must be white and weighted down. Sources of ignition are not permitted in booth spaces; generators must be battery-operated, quiet, and non-fume producing if essential. No prerecorded or amplified music is allowed in booth spaces. Upon acceptance, artists must provide a certificate of insurance listing event organizers as additionally insured.
Artist amenities include website listing with artist site link, complimentary breakfast Saturday and Sunday, dedicated artist hospitality suite, reserved parking, discounted hotel room blocks, available booth sitters, cash and prizes for top booth spaces, custom swag bag, 24-hour security, and two tickets each to the Artville Launch Party (Thursday, September 24, 7-10 pm) and Artville Afterdark (Friday, September 25, 7-10 pm). Artists must provide their own display booth, racks, and tables; some large tented spaces may be available for rent after acceptance. Additional fees apply for corner booths and electricity. Application fees are non-refundable; booth fees are non-refundable after August 3, 2026. On average, 150 applications are submitted annually with approximately 70 artists selected through jury.
