Amazing Black and White (2025)

The MVA Gallery (Modern Visual Arts) invites artists, photographers, and sculptors of all levels to submit original black and white artwork to this exhibition. All subject matter is acceptable in any style or technique—traditional or non-traditional, realistic or abstract. The gallery accepts painting, watercolor, printmaking, mixed media, digital, pastel, encaustic, sculpture, fiber, drawing, and photography.

Submit 3 to 9 images via CAFE (CallForEntry) at https://www.callforentry.org. Entry fee is $35.00 for 3 images, with additional images at $5.00 each. All images must be JPEG format, under 5 MB, with a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side. Include title, medium, size, price, and year of completion with your submission. Artwork must be professionally finished and ready for installation with stretched wire attached to the back. Maximum dimensions: 48 inches (framed) on the longest side and 50 lbs for paintings; 24 inches on any dimension for sculpture. Photographs should be framed (48 inches maximum) with black or white frames preferred.

Entry deadline: July 20, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification to artists by October 10, 2025. Accepted artwork must arrive by November 12, 2025. Exhibition runs November 19 - December 31, 2025. Awards include an "Art of Distinction" Award, an Annual Grand Prize offering a New York City exhibition opportunity, and a Director's Choice Award of $200. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and insurance. A prepaid return shipping label must be enclosed with shipped work.
