Altis Grand Bay Exterior Mural

BFA is seeking an artist or artist team to create artwork for digital reproduction on the exterior garage surface of the new Altis Grand Bay Building. The building was designed to feature large-scale murals using the digital mural wrap reproduction process. Artwork must be original works of the artist and in compliance with all existing copyright laws.

One artist or artist team will be selected for the project and will be compensated $25,000 to create original artwork for the building. Artists should submit existing artwork and/or documentation of previous public art projects that reflect their ongoing art practice, not proposals for new work specific only to this project. Artists may fabricate their artwork any way relevant to their practice, provided it is made accessible to be digitally reproduced for display.

This call is open to artists or artist teams nationwide with at least five years of professional experience. Submissions must include 7-10 images, an artist bio/statement (PDF, no more than 1 page), and a resume/CV (3 page maximum, PDF). All digitally reproduced mural wraps will be installed on the exterior of Altis Grand Bay's parking garage. The selected artist is not responsible for printing and installation costs. If selected, the artist retains all copyright to their images and grants BFA and Altis Grand Bay the right to use and reproduce the artwork for marketing and documentation purposes, including social media with artist credit.
