Allen's Crafts & Drafts 2026

The 2026 Allen's Crafts and Drafts Festival, organized by the Allen Arts Alliance, takes place September 25-27, 2026 at Watters Creek Village in Allen, Texas. The festival features juried artists showcasing original art in various media categories, along with live entertainment and children's art activities.

Artists must submit 3 photos of their work plus 1 photo of their outdoor display through Zapplication. All work must be original and handcrafted by the approved artist. Media categories include clay, digital art, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, metal, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood. The jury panel scores images from 1-7 (no 4s) and averages scores to determine acceptances and a wait list by medium category. Jury results notification is by August 1, 2026, with artist acceptance and booth fee deadline of August 15, 2026.

Booth fees are $325 for a 10'x10' standard booth or $600 for a 20'x10' double booth, with optional electricity for $50 (limited availability). Artists must provide their own white professional-quality tent with at least three walls and secure anchoring with minimum 50 lbs. weight per tent leg. Original art must occupy more than 50% of booth space. Artists must be present during the entire festival. Check-in is staggered between 7:00-10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25. Setup must be complete by 2:00 p.m. Friday. Breakdown cannot begin until after 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 27, with tent space cleared by 8:00 p.m. Cancellation with 50% refund minus $25 administrative fee must be requested in writing by September 1, 2026. After that date, fees are non-refundable with no rain date. Proceeds support community programs, student scholarships, and grants to community non-profit cultural arts organizations.
