All Who Wander (A Juried Exhibition)

Rockaway Artists Alliance seeks work that explores or documents trips, travels, forced evacuations, escapes, and arrivals for the juried exhibition "All Who Wander." The exhibition will take place at T7 Gallery at historic Fort Tilden in NYC from May 18 - August 17, 2024. Juror Eto Otitigbe will award one artist "best in show," with the selected artist receiving a solo exhibition in the East Gallery in 2025.

Submit up to three images of available work for a $30 application fee. Two additional images can be submitted for an additional $20 fee. 2D work must be smaller than 48 x 72 inches and ready to hang. 3D work may not exceed 48 inches in any dimension or weigh more than 50 pounds; no complex assembly can be accommodated. Video, installation, and time-based work cannot be accepted. Work must be available for the duration of the exhibition and installation/deinstallation period (May 1 - August 30, 2024). Artists are responsible for shipping work to and from RAA. No artwork can be insured for a value greater than $5,000 on RAA's fine art policy; artists needing additional coverage are encouraged to purchase their own policy.

Artists will be notified by mid-April. Accepted work must arrive at RAA by May 1. Artworks will be listed for sale, with 60% of sales going to the artist and 40% to RAA. All US-based artists are welcome to apply, with special welcome extended to artists from the Rockaway Peninsula, Queens, and NYC.
