All Things Plant Life

This is a 3-person exhibition opportunity at Partners Gallery in Fort Bragg, California, scheduled for March 2017. The exhibition, titled "Wordplay," seeks work from artists who use words, text, narrative, and other communicative means in their art. This includes narrative art that tells a story as a moment in time or sequence of events, as well as work that plays with words to create new meanings.

Eligibility is limited to artists 18 years of age or older residing in California. Eligible work includes paintings, mixed media, sculpture, photography, and original prints completed within the last two years. Video, installation, jewelry, and functional ware are not eligible. Work must not exceed 60" in maximum dimensions and must be suitably framed or wired for installation. Sculptures may not weigh more than 100 lbs. Image and frame size must be included in dimensions; sculpture weight must be specified.

Selected works must be hand-delivered in excellent condition and ready for installation on Monday, February 27, 2017 by 5:00 pm. Accepted entries may not be removed during the exhibition. Artists must pick up unsold work by 4:00 pm Sunday, April 2, 2017. Partners Gallery will exhibit selected artists' work on their website and publicize the show with email announcements, printed exhibition cards, and press releases. Entry fee is $35.00. Submit 3-6 images of your work.
