All Alaska Juried XXXV - Anchorage Museum Biennial Exhibition

The All Alaska Juried XXXV-Anchorage Museum Biennial Exhibition is open to Alaska residents and tribally enrolled Alaska Natives only. Each artist may submit up to four individual works for a non-refundable $25 entry fee. The application allows for up to eight images to be uploaded, with the additional four reserved for detail shots only. All works must have been completed within the last two years. Entries may be submitted only by the artist or their agent; copies and work done under instruction are ineligible.

The deadline for digital entries is July 1, 2014 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time. Phase I notification will be sent by August 15, 2014. Entries selected for Phase II judging will proceed through a two-round process: first round judging by digital entries only, with final selections made by viewing actual work. Selected entries must be delivered to the Anchorage Museum between September 22nd and October 3rd, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

All entries must be ready for installation or framed and ready to hang. Any framing device which does not cover glass edges will not be considered. Framed artwork with dimensions larger than 24" x 30" should be covered with plexiglass; the Museum will not be responsible for damages to larger works framed under glass. The juror is Bonnie Laing-Malcolmson, The Arlene and Harold Schnitzer Curator of Northwest Art at the Portland Art Museum. Cash awards and honorable mentions will be given.
