All Abstract - 2023

All Abstract is a visual art exhibition comprised entirely of abstract works (non-representational). This physical exhibition will be held at 311 Gallery in Downtown Raleigh, North Carolina from March 3-31, 2023, with an opening reception on March 3. All United States artists are eligible, and a cash prize will be awarded for best in show.

The exhibition accepts both 2D and 3D abstract works of all mediums including painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, and sculpture. Audio and video submissions are not accepted. All works must be for sale and should not exceed 72 inches in any dimension unless otherwise permitted by staff via email. Works will be accepted on a piece-by-piece basis due to space limitations. Entry fee is $25 for the first work and $5 per additional work, up to a maximum of $50 for up to 6 total works. Submissions are juried using JPEGs (one per work; additional perspective images for 3D work may be emailed to [email protected] with "All Abstract - Detail Photo" in the subject line).

If accepted, 2D artworks must hang by wire or other acceptable means. 3D works must be able to stand with minimal or no assistance, or come with necessary display items; the gallery provides pedestals and tables for free-standing works. Artists will be notified of acceptance status approximately 3-5 days after the deadline. Expected drop-off/mail-in dates are February 23-25, 12-4pm, with pickup expected April 1-2, 12-4pm. The commission rate is 60% artist, 40% gallery, with payment mailed approximately 30 days after sale.
